Henry

Placement Pending

DOB: April 7th, 2023
Earliest possible placement: Dec 5th, 2023
Henry has all of the confidence, biddability and handler orientation needed for a service dog; but has a little bit of spice and a sparkly personality to brighten everyone’s day. He is humorous, happy and always has a wagging tail. He is very cuddly and feels at his best when he is following the lead of his trainer or handler. He is higher on the assertiveness and urgency scale than some more laid back dogs, so he will likely excel as a medical alert and response dog.

Wanda

Placement Pending

DOB: September 28, 2023
Earliest possible placement: May 28, 2024
Wanda has the absolute best combination of a biddable, following and soft nature. She is laid back but not sensitive, and food motivated but not pushy. She will be excellent in really any three of the disability categories we specialize in, but we see her being most successful in the role of autism or psychiatric support dog. She’s still young but we have high hopes she will have a well-rounded, “Disneyland Dog” level of public access ability.

Sylvie

Placement Pending

DOB: December 11, 2023
Earliest possible placement: August 5th, 2024
Sylvie is a happy, bouncy, joyful baby — everything you should see in a golden retriever puppy. She has a soft but biddable work drive, and is most happy when she is cuddling and playing with the people she loves most. She will likely be a fantastic psychiatric service dog, though with maturation we might see her in a medical alert and response role. She’s confident and environmentally stable, which means she should reach a very high level of public access ability.

Past placements

Below are puppies who were raised and trained through our program before being placed with their forever partners.

nicole and “evelyn”

Placed: January 18th, 2024

Evelyn was the first puppy our program added after moving to Connecticut, and has made us very proud! She has been trained to perform anxiety alerts, deep pressure therapy, emergency button activation, medication retrieval, behavior disruption and forward momentum pull to exits/safe places. Since being placed, she has assisted Nicole in living an independent and healthy life. She has successfully prevented psychiatric emergencies from escalating, and has been a great addition to Nicole’s treatment plan.

Brina and “Charlotte”

Placed: February 17th, 2021

Charlotte was the final puppy raised and trained through our program before we moved away from California. Since being placed, she’s been a world traveler: Planes, cruises, hospital stays, ambulance rides, state fairs, and much more. She is happiest when she is working, both at home and in public. Her long list of tasks include medication retrieval, forward momentum pull, medical alert, deep pressure therapy, dropped item retrieves, emergency button activation and seizure response. We are very proud of Charlotte!
